Roles and Ranks INFO
As you work your way up the roles and priviledges at HFHS, you may sometimes wonder... What does my job mean? What do I do? What can I do? Well ask this no more, as this thread will tell you most of the information you need to know.
Important Note: If you do not do the responsiblitys of whatever role you are, then this role will be revoked from you. This is known as demotion
Front Desk (Job given when rights are first bought, and a job that all staff must do when they are at the entrance, even if they have a higher rank)
You Sit in the main desk and tell people information on Jobs, buying rights, getting the badge, what stickys do what, etc.
If you do this rank for at least a week very well, and work hard, you are bound to get a promotion.
Front Desk Manager/Head of Front Desk
- This rank is where you control the front desk, and lower staff. You must make sure that at least two people are working at all times. You also sort out conflicts, recommend promotions/demotions to the owners, help new staff, and do the front desk.
- Rank tip: By adding all official staff you meet, you will be able to contact them if you need them at the front desk.
Ideas and Events Organisers
These people think of new ideas of events! This can be absolutely anything, you could design new layouts for rooms, think of new furniture themes. Or maybe it could be something like designing a new rank, or new staff system. You will also plan events, help at events, or think of Staff only event ideas. Of course there are hundreds of ideas to think of that will effect everyone, so this is an exciting job to have!
Executive Head of Rooms / Caretaker
This person has the important role of making sure all of the rooms sparkle! If any rooms are looking poor, or lacking something, or maybe you could think of a better idea, then you are the person to report on it! You also have to make sure all the stickys are right! Another role linking in with this rank is telling people about how much rights to rooms cost, or telling people where a certain room within the school is. Aswell as this, you need to be the person kicking naughty habbos, or reporting their actions!
Website Writer (side role)
As I myself am too busy with HfHS on habbo to contact you with assigments, I am relying on YOU to write an article at least every 3 days on either an event, news, information, updates and anything else that is related to the usual posting of the website. These articles must be sent to me direct on minimail to copy and paste onto the website. You can also send me ideas or things that need improving etc.
Govenors (Side Role)
This rank is something extra to be at HFHS, basically you meet once a week, and will discuss things at HFHS, recent events, future ideas etc. Also votes will be taken. Anything can happen in these meetings. The head govenor will host these.
Note: If you miss a number of meetings this role will be taken away!
Deputy Head Govenor
Your job is to help the Head Govenor plan the meetings, you will also take some responsibility in the meeting, make sure it runs smoothly, help the head govenor host it, and also host some of it yourself.
Head Govenor
As Head Govenor, you are responsible for the plan of each meeting, and also are in charge of staff turning up etc. You will host this meeting, and plan what is said and discussed. You can ask each owner for one topic each that they want you to discuss, the rest will be recent news, ideas that have been said, etc etc, it can be ANYTHING!
Head of Front Desk:
You are the front desk managers, and the lower basic staff's superior. You need to make sure they are ALL doing their jobs! Make sure nobody is just sitting there doing nothing. You can also recommend staff who work well for a promotion to the owners, or maybe recommend bad staff for a demotion. As head of front desk, you are responsible for the activity of staff. The room should not ever fall empty!
Note: The best thing to do is add all staff, so you know who is online.
Head of Bans
You have your own little sticky where you write down who is banned, and what the reason is. These bans will be decided by you, the Executive Head of Rooms, the head of lessons, and Head of Front Desk. They must report to you who has been abusing staff, blocking, being rude, or anything else that is against the rules of the Habbo Way. You then decide the amount of time for this person ban, and write it on the Bans sticky, in the entrance.
Head of School Communications
This role entitles you to make sure that everyone is getting along! You need to sort out and report conflicts! You also need to tell staff any information on events, news etc. You also have the priviledge of thinking about staff events. Other roles include bringing people into the school. You need to advertise on both the console and peoples guestbook, and get people to talk actively on the main group discussion forum.
Head of Business and Enterprise
You have a high rank that entitles you to discuss and tell the owners on how to promote awareness and popularity of HFHS. You have to think of ways to make it rise above the rest, make it have a good look, and make sure there are no mistakes happening. You are responsible of reporting on ways of improving the look on HFHS, or anything thats making the popularity decrease. You also campaign in advertising of rights, of trialists, and of joining the group.
Rank Tip: The best method of reporting on this, or advertising, is on guestbooks/minimails.
Head of Trialists
Well this rank is VERY important! On average one person sends in an application to become a front desk trialist every 3 hours. You are the person who accepts or declines these applications, who then adds the person who has passed to their friends list, trains them, sets them up at HFHS and gives them information, and ultimatly decides whether they pass their trial or not. You must also get potential visitors who you think would do well, to apply. Applications are on the main group discussion forum.
Moderator
With this job, you will be working all over HfHS, but mainly at the entrance! You will need to ban or warn anyone abusing the habbo way, including those actually inside the school. You can use the 'Bans' sticky to do this. You may also report to me by minimail any official staff that have been abusing rights or harassing fellow staff (please do not take action upon them at the time, as this may provoke them and get you into trouble!). See me for the code to rooms, so that you can spy on people from the door!
Group Manager
This role involes you thinking of new designs and new forum threads for the HfHS groups. You also need to help people find certain threads that may be important to them! As you are the group manager, you may also want to be active on the forums, and also advetise the main group on peoples guestbooks! If anything is out of date or incorrect on any threads, you ought to let me know.
Events Manager
Events Manager involves not only you organising events, but also giving ideas for some. These can be anything from staff events and meetings to student events and even voting systems! An event does not have to be something on habbo, it could be a poll, a group, a game on the forums and a number of other things! Please tell me if you have started an event up, just to check that it is okay to proceed. You will also co-host staff events alongside me!
Lessons/Teachers Manager
By becoming the lessons/teachers manager this means you will work often in the campus director, however this is only when the entrance is busy and has 3+ staff working on the desk. Your responsibilities are to make sure that there is a lesson in place at all times, and you also ought to recruite teachers by telling them to put [HfHS] Teacher into their motto. You may also recruite prefects by telling them to join the prefects group! Please be active at HfHS, otherwise this role is not for you.
Awareness Manager
This role involved alot of social communications. Your role means that you need to be advertising the group and room on peoples guestbooks, telling people about upcoming events, informing me of ways forward with HfHS popularity, giving me ideas etc. You need to be ACTIVE at HfHS otherwise this job is not for you! We will expect to see you here almost every day.
Managing Director
This is one of the most easiest, but important jobs. If there has been a change to HFHS, or some news that must be told, or maybe even an event coming up soon, YOU are the one that needs to make sure everyone knows! You also need to make sure all staff are still involved with HFHS, by going through the staff group picking out those who are inactive, or not doing their job properly. Or maybe you want to congratulate people on working well. You also tell people any information they need, such as where they find a certain place, or what their role does, or any basic general stuff like how they can get a promotion etc.
Rank Tip: The best way to do this job when the person who want to inform is offline, is to contact them by their guestbook or minimail.
Chair/Head of All Staff
You are soley responsible for making sure every staff member knows what they have to do and what their job is. You also make sure they are all doing these jobs. Other benefits include warning bad behavioured staff, or making sure bad workers are fired.
